Login to the software
- In the left sidebar menu, go to ‘Student > Fee Settings’.
- Adjust your fee system to match your school’s rules. Set up fee sessions, fee patterns, and fee types.
- Once you’ve entered the information, simply click ‘Save’.
- A confirmation modal would appear confirming successful submission.

1 | Default Paid Amount same as Payable Amount | When you go to the student's fee submission page, the "Paid" columns will automatically be filled with the payable amount. If you want this feature, select 'YES,' so you will only need to click the submit button and the fee will be submitted. If most students leave dues unpaid, you can select 'NO,' which will allow you to enter the amount they are paying and save it manually. |
2 | Fee must be Cleared by the End of Session | It means that any fees set in your fee structure must be fully cleared by the end of this session. Therefore, you need to select 'Yes' or 'No' to indicate whether you want to clear all the fees by the end of the session or not |
3 | One-time Fee Submission Allowed? | One-time fee submission" means if a student comes to pay their fee and they cannot pay the full amount at once, you need to decide if you will allow them to pay in installments. You can select this option here. In most cases, we set this option to 'NO' because sometimes students prefer to pay in installments instead of paying the full amount at once. Therefore, we typically select 'NO' for this option |
4 | Fee variation by Student Admission Type? | If you want to set different types of fee structures in your institute, such as different fees for girls, boys, or economically weaker sections, you can select 'YES.' In most cases, this is set to 'NO. |
5 | Allow Editing of Fee Payable Values? | If you want the payable amount to be modifiable when the student submits their fee, select 'YES.' Otherwise, select 'NO.' In most cases, this is set to 'NO. |
6 | Security Type for Fee Slip | If you want to add a security feature to the fee slip, such as a 'QR Code,' you can use this option. |
7 | Fee Slip Copies? | Fee slip copies" means that when a student submits their fee, you need to decide how many copies of the fee slip to print. For example, you might keep one slip for office purposes and give another slip to the student. Here, you need to select for whom you need to print the copies. As you can see, the dropdown menu provides several options: "All," "Parent copy only," and "Office only." Select the appropriate option from the given dropdown menu to print the fee slip |
8 | Disable Back Date Fee Entry? | Disable back date fee entry" means if you are making a fee entry for any student, for example, if today's date is the 19th and you want to enter the fee as of the 1st, you need to select 'YES.' If you do not want to allow fee entries for back dates, select 'NO.' Typically, we set "Disable back date fee entry" to 'YES. |
9 | Fee Slip Template | Fee slip template" means you need to select the format of the fee slip you want to print for the student. Here, you can choose the desired template from the available options. |
